For those looking for somewhere to celebrate in the coming weeks, or simply a seriously good meal in a special setting, FYN’s two new menus – their Mother’s Day menu and Stickman Pop-up Lunch – set the scene for a gastronomic journey that will transport you to from the back streets of Japan to the ancient coastlines and verdant farmlands of South Africa.
An exciting new addition to mark in your calendar is the launch of the Stickman Pop-Up Lunch – taking place on the first Thursday of each month. Initially planned as a restaurant in its own right, the team recently rolled out the Stickman concept (via Bolt). The enthusiastic feedback from diners has prompted us to bring it into the striking FYN space, as a once-a-month experience.
Stickman will take you on a trip to the back alleys of Tokyo, inspired by the izakayas that represent what we love most about the food culture of the city. The menu focuses on yakitori (food served on sticks) and ramen made with hand cut noodles, with regional styles changing weekly. You can’t have this food without a delicious drink – it’s part of the experience. We suggest you accompany your meal
with Japanese sake, whisky or beer.
