Scott commented “We are humbled and honoured to receive this award.  My goal has always been to provide Cape Town with a truly authentic Japanese restaurant that utilizes top quality ingredients to create a menu with fresh flavours, visual harmony and elegant simplicity. I feel that we are close to perfecting it!”

The tranquil restaurant, located on bustling Kloof Nek Road, is a ‘must visit’ destination for all foodies. Stepping through the door transports diners to an authentic interior that could be mistaken for a venue in downtown Tokyo.

From the décor to the cuisine, everything is Japanese inspired and done to perfection, lulling diners into a feeling of Zen relaxation.

In 2014 Kyoto Garden won the Eat Out award for Best Asian Restaurant followed up by 5 stars from the acclaimed Rossouw Guide.
