Homegrown DJ turned global house music icon, Black Coffee, lands back at Shimmy Beach Club this December for four exclusive summer shows! Drawing influence from his year of monumentally successful residencies at Hii Ibiza and Wynn in Vegas, this season will bring the heat like never before, with even hotter supporting acts, including Culoe De Song and Themba, top quality production and that little bit of extra magic to bring the energy of the world’s best dancefloors to the sands of Shimmy Beach.
After a year of skyrocketing success, with highlights including headlining Coachella, a smash hit collab with DJ superstar David Guetta on the single “Drive”, and his aforementioned residencies at two of the top nightclubs in the world, Black Coffee has become a household name on an international scale. Alongside his mind-blowing international acclaim, South Africa proved it loves Black Coffee more than ever when he scooped up the awards for Best Music Producer and Best International DJ at this year’s Dance Music Awards SA.
2018 will be Black Coffee’s third year as a Shimmy Beach Club resident, with the last two year’s shows sold out weeks in advance. These shows form part of Shimmy’s highly anticipated annual Summer Calling campaign when the calendar is jam packed with a world class calibre of performances by top international and local acts. The premier entertainment venue balances the style of international party life and the laid-back atmosphere of Cape Town, making it a stylish venue to rival Ibiza’s beach club scenes.
Black Coffee will be playing at Shimmy Beach Club on Friday 14th, 21st, 28th December 2018 and Saturday 5th January 2019. Don’t miss this opportunity, tickets are on sale now!
