If pigs could fly and frog princes needed digs for the weekend, you would find them all at Bay Harbour Market in Hout Bay. Shoppers at this popular destination are going bonkers for the new hive of activity at the Restorey stall – all because their novel range of animals have arrived.
Designed to make you smile, but also to add love and colour to your home, the Pomme-pidou range is made-up of a collection of quirky animal characters that are all individualised with their own names and unique patterns.
“There is no one creator of the range,” says Restorey representative, Ce’Nedra Anderson. “It’s a collaboration of many – the whole team chooses the characters and the designs, and then we have so much fun naming each character as well.”
The top-sellers are the deer (Nelson) and rhino (Lola) heads, which are made from resin and are hand dipped. They come in various sizes and are perfect for any wall in the home that needs a splash of life.
