French 75

Ingredients
60ml Durbanville Distillery Gin
20ml fresh lemon juice
20ml simple syrup (water & sugar mix, heated)
60ml champagne
1 handful of ice

Garnish
A twist of lemon

Preparation
Pour gin, lemon juice and syrup in a shaker. Add a handful of ice and give it a good shake for about 25 seconds. Strain into a glass and garnish with a lemon twist.

Served
In a champagne flute


Macua Cocktail

Macua

Ingredients
60ml Durbanville Distillery Rum
60ml guava juice
30ml fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons of white sugar
1 handful of ice

Garnish
A slice of orange and a cherry

Preparation
Pour all the ingredients into a shaker, shake for 20 seconds along with a handful of ice. Strain over cocktail strainer into glass. Add fresh ice. Garnish with slice of orange and a cherry.

Served
In a highball glass


Caipiroska

Ingredients
60ml Durbanville Distillery Vodka
1 lime
2 teaspoons of brown sugar
Crushed ice

Preparation
Cut the lime into 8 wedges. Use a muddler to muddle/squash the wedges in the tumbler with the brown sugar. Add the Durbanville Distillery Vodka. Top it up with crushed ice. Mix well and serve.
